For this project we had to redesign a layout that was very light on text. I choose to add a red graphic border to take up some space and add movement through the piece. I choose the color red because I plan to add red peppers above the photo caption to match the red border. It was challenging to work with so little text so I dealt with that by using a large drop cap and point 12 font.

Be careful of the use of your red. The more you use it in the bars and graphic treatment will reduce the effectiveness of it in the image of the upcoming red pepper. I like the aggressive drop cap in the copy. We will see where this goes when you get the pepper inserted.
