Native American Heritage Poster

For this assignment we were given a poorly designed flyer that was printed on horrible orange paper. The purpose of the flyer was to promote Native American heritage month. I choose to change the tone of the flyer so that it has a more comical feel. My inspiration was from Disney's Peter Pan, the song "what makes the red man red?" I stylized a question mark with the phrase "what makes the red man red?" Due to the fact that we had a lot of information on the original flyer i chose to justify left the events going on all throughout Native American heritage month.

  1. Regi,
OK, Your concept is risky. Can you make it more politically correct? The graphic could be developed further and used in a more aggressive manner. The Illustrator outline style is too plain, need something with more visual impact. Do you have a grid? The hierarchy is based only on the positioning of the elements. You have more options to use than that. Need logos - find/rebuild and add in. Separate the concept statement out of the graphic. It is too hard to read.
