My first rev for Red Barn was so terrible I decided to scratch the whole things and start over. My initial concept was to play off of the fact that Red Barn arts and crafts fair starts at 6:00AM and have my tag- line be "Good Morning Red Barn" Due to lack of imagery I decided to completely change my concept.
After scratching this concept I came across a photo of some glass art one of the venders had displayed. I decided to play off of this picture and have my tag line become "seeing through ROSE colored glass." I like how the word rose goes along with red in red barn without throwing it in your face. For my poster I want really utilize the rose colored glasses and refer to red barn as a "magical" event where the town of kirksville bring in joy and fun to the square for just one day!
